Introduction

Welcome, Friends!

The first thing I would like to do is introduce myself.  My name is Kay and the reason I am here is to VENT!  I've done that frequently on FaceBook, but it has caused a few minor problems as most people aren't quite as outspoken as I am!  During my younger years, I never really got involved in politics, and I'm beginning to think that may have been a good thing!   I worked outside the home and made fairly good money, but certainly not enough to throw me into what Obama calls the middle class!  But, in the last 15 years, my life has changed drastically!  Don't get me wrong...I have always voted during elections.  I knew that was my right and I exercised it.  My husband and I have a business that we run from the comfort of our own home.  So, needless to say, within that time, I've become increasingly more attentive to politics. 

I mentioned the FaceBook posts.  I've had family members quit talking to me.  I just chalk it up to the fact that they really don't know the whole story!  I will tell you right now that anyone who watches ONLY the mainstream media doesn't have a clue as to some of the things that are going on in politics!  So, they don't think I'm worthy of their attention, but that's OK!  There is always going to be times when truths come out...not all at once, but a little at a time.  I'm a big Fox News fan and it is the only channel that I have found that is actually fair and balanced.  YES, journalists are way off base now than what they used to be.  In my humble opinion, they are biased and seem to be afraid to tell the whole truth!  

So, that's where I am.  I need to vent from time to time and this seems like the place to do it.  We'll see!  Bear with me from day to day.  Maybe I'll have some calm days and just switch subjects to "give the folks a break". 

In closing, let me say that  I so much appreciate my friends who support me in my opinions...but, for the same reason, they are sometimes afraid to comment on my posts.  I totally understand that!
